I just tried it on my laptop running FreeBSD-STABLE from about 5
weeks ago and was able to switch back and forth between
fullscreen and windows mode without any crashes or other
instabilities whatsoever. The video card is an ATI Rage 3D LT PRO,
and I'm not using DRI at the moment. I don't have a DragonFly
installation here though, so I can't test my laptop with DragonFly.
I don't think we already have a bootable Live-CD, do we?

bye,
  Harold
