NAME

ltm-client - Statseeker Real Time LAN Analyzer

SYNTAX

ltm-client -i {interface}

DESCRIPTION

ltm-client is a real time statistical LAN Analyzer. Refer to the ltm(1) manual page for a general description. The ltm-client requires read/write access to /dev/bpf* devices, You will need to run ltm-client as root or change the permissions for the bpf(4) devices when they get created by devfs(8). The ltm-client user interface is simple to use, so it will not be explained here.

OPTIONS

-i interface eg. ltm-client -i bge0

NOTES

All Statseeker products use a custom error logging mechanism (not syslog). Your system will not contain the Statseeker logging daemon, therefore the ltm-client will display error messages via stderr. ltm-client requires a valid protocols database file located in /usr/local/etc/protocols.db. protocols.db is created by compiling /usr/local/etc/protocols.cfg file using ltm-mkprotodb(1).

FILES

/usr/local/etc/protocols.cfg - config file /usr/local/etc/protocols.db - database file
