LMDBG-SYSLEAKS(1)                                            LMDBG-SYSLEAKS(1)

NAME

lmdbg-sysleaks - extracts/skips the system memory leaks

SYNOPSIS

lmdbg-sysleaks [OPTIONS] [files...]

DESCRIPTION

lmdbg-sysleaks analyses lmdbg-sym's output and prints (or supresses printing of) system memory leaks listed in the configuration file. Note that unlike lmdbg-leaks, lmdbg-sysleaks makes use of resolved symbols to sort out system functions, therefore it should be run after lmdbg-sym.

OPTIONS

-h Display the help message. -V Display the lmdbg version. -c Specify the configuration file. -s Do not print system memory leaks, print the rest.

FILES

~/.lmdbg.conf or /usr/local/etc/lmdbg.conf default lmdbg configuration file

EXAMPLES

lmdbg-run -o log ./my_app && lmdbg-leaks log > log_leaks && lmdbg-sym -p log_leaks > log_leaks2 && lmdbg-sysleaks -s log_leaks2 > log_final lmdbg-sysleaks -c ~/.lmdbg.NetBSD.conf -s log_leaks2 > log_final
