NAME

acpihelp -- help utility for ASL operators, AML opcodes, and ACPI prede- fined names

SYNOPSIS

acpihelp [option ...] [name/prefix | hex_value]

DESCRIPTION

The following options are supported: -a [name/prefix] Find/Display both ASL operator and AML opcode name(s). -e [hex_value] Decode ACPICA exception code. -h Display help. -i Display known ACPI Device IDs (_HID). -k [name/prefix] Find/Display ASL non-operator keyword(s). -m [name/prefix] Find/Display AML opcode name(s). -o [hex_value] Decode hex AML opcode. -p [name/prefix] Find/Display ASL predefined method name(s). -s [name/prefix] Find/Display ASL operator name(s). -v Display version information. If neither name/prefix nor hex_value are specified acpihelp defaults to displaying all information available for the specified option. If a name/prefix but no options are specified acpihelp defaults to find- ing ASL operator names if name/prefix does not start with an underscore, and to finding ASL predefined method names if name/prefix does start with an underscore.
